Privacy Policy

This explains what ClearPath Insights LLC collects about the people who use our site and service, and what we do with it. We don't sell personal information about the people who use our service.

What we collect

• Sign-in details: the email addresses approved for your agency, and when they sign in.
• Your notes: the call outcomes, notes and follow-ups you record on your lists.
• Billing details: your agency's name, billing contact and invoices. Card and bank details are handled by Stripe; we never see or store full card or account numbers.
• Site usage: pages visited and basic device information, collected with Matomo analytics hosted on our own server, and used to see how the site is used.
• Messages: anything you send us by email.

Cookies and similar technology

Signing in stores a session cookie and sign-in token in your browser so you stay signed in. Our analytics and Stripe's payment pages may also use cookies or local storage. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

How we use it

To run the service: signing you in, delivering your lists, keeping your notes, billing you, and emailing you about your account. To improve the service, using usage counts and totals rather than the content of your notes. To meet legal obligations.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers that run parts of the service for us, under their own privacy and security commitments: Netlify (website hosting), Supabase (sign-in and data storage), Stripe (payments), Google Workspace (email) and Hetzner (analytics server hosting). We may disclose information if the law requires it. If ClearPath is ever sold or merged, your information would pass to the new owner under this policy.

How long we keep it

While you subscribe, we keep what the service needs. After you cancel, we keep your notes for 12 months, then delete them, sooner if you ask. We keep billing records as long as tax law requires.

Security

Access to your lists and notes requires a signed-in account from your agency, and each agency can see only its own notes. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Your choices

You can export or delete your notes at any time, update your billing details from the billing link on your home page, and ask us what we hold about you or to correct or delete it by emailing steve@clearpathinsights.io.

Our lists describe businesses using public records and other publicly available sources. If you are a business owner and want to ask about the information we hold about your business, email steve@clearpathinsights.io.

Changes

We'll post any update here with a new effective date, and email subscribers about significant changes.
